Director General PEPCO Muhammad Khalid told ARY NEWS that the notification has been withdrawn on government’s directive and now same, old rates will be applicable for the consumers throughout the day. the notification was issued in the light of the decisions made two years ago by the past government. However, DG PEPCO offered a strange explanation of the event saying "the decision and the consequent notification was perceived wrong by the media".
